Capturing nature’s quiet moments through my lens

My Journey

I began taking photos at about age 10, but only recently have attempted to create images which reflect the way I see nature. My work is intended not to simply record what is there, but rather to impart a feeling for nature.

Early Inspirations

I grew up in the plains of Kansas, and first saw the Rocky Mountains on a high-school graduation camping trip with friends. I have never truly left the mountains since that time.

Recent Work

Over the past several years I have traveled in southern Utah, the Four Corners area, and the mountains of Colorado, exploring ways to capture the uniqueness of these areas. I have also begun work on night photography, including Milky Way images and the Aurora Borealis.
